Aprovechando las rebajas, el otro día pasé por Make-Up Stories (Calle Tendería 18, Bilbao) e hice cuatro comprillas. Tres necesarias y un capricho.
Comenzando por las necesarias, llevo un tiempo buscando un primer que disimule las rojeces y finalmente he encontrado uno.
Este primer es de NYX, tiene una textura muy muy suave y se extiende muy bien aun teniendo la piel algo seca. Aunque recomiendo tener la cara algo hidratada para poder aprovechar mucho mejor le producto. El disimulo de rojeces no es instantáneo y cubre de manera bastante ligera la piel, pero a la hora de aplicar la base de maquillaje sí se nota una mejoría. Al menos en mi caso.
El siguiente producto que necesitaba era una brocha.
Ya tenía un
pack de brochas de Real Techniques que había comprado anteriormente en TOPSHOP y estoy muy contenta con ellas. Lo que no sabía era que en esta tienda (y eso que había estado mil veces) vendían los productos de Sam y Nic Chapman. Que si no las conocéis, tienen varios canales en
YouTube donde enseñan a maquillarse de mil maneras diferentes con técnicas sencillísimas.
Cuando entré y vi esta brocha me fue imposible no cogerla. Es perfecta para colorete o para polvos fijadores de maquillaje. Es muy suave y se limpia muy fácilmente. La verdad es que no tengo ninguna pega.
El siguiente producto que compré no es que fuese necesario en sí, podría casi clasificarse como capricho pero mi pequeña obsesión por las barras de labios no tiene límites.
Si hay algo que últimamente me tiene loca son las barras de labios de colores oscuros. Sobre todo rojos. En concreto estaba buscando el
SOFT MATE LIP CREAM en color Copenhagen para labios de NYX pero no tenían el color que buscaba así que me decanté por esta barra de labios que no dejo de usar. En una aplicación ya aporta un color fuerte y casi no hace falta repasarlo en todo el día incluso habiendo bebido o comido. Creo que es una de las mejores compras que he hecho en 2015.
Y finalmente el producto capricho. Dry shampoo.
Mi historia con este tipo de champús secos viene de lejos. Mi pelo tiende a graso y normalmente tengo que lavarlo cada dos días así que siempre busco remedios para no tener que hacerlo tan asiduamente y poder cuidarlo mejor. Como en Bilbao en ningún sitio encontraba este producto y si lo hacía era en unos precios desorbitados (alrededor de los 10 ó 20 euros), al final opté por cada vez que viajaba fuera venirme con un cargamento. La última vez compré el
floral and flirty de la marca
batiste de tamaño descomunal por apenas 3 libras que aún me dura (y durará) y no puedo estar más contenta con la textura y el olor que aportan a mi pelo.
Al ver que en Make-Up Stories tienen esta misma marca en diversos tamaños, olores y propósitos elegí el que da volumen. También tenían para cabellos castaños ya que el producto puede resultar algo blanquecino para pelos oscuros, diferentes olores y éste, el XXL.
Hay que decir que en mi opinión da aspecto al pelo de estar limpio, da volumen pero deja una textura algo incómoda al pasar los dedos por éste. Me explico. Personalmente tuve la sensación de haberme echado mucha laca y quedase "estropajoso". Pero sinceramente funciona genial y tras pasar el cepillo se fue esa sensación al tacto.

Last week I went to Make-Up Stories and bought four products. Three that I needed and one on a whim.
I will begin with the three that I needed. I have been looking for a while for a primer to help me with some redness and I think I have finally found the perfect one.
It is from NYX, it has a very very soft texture and spreads amazingly well even with dry skin. Although I would recommend to have a mosturized face before applying to make the product last longer. I appreciated that the redness doesn't disappear quickly as the primer covers lightly the skin but after applying the base it does seem to be reduced. At least in my case.
The next product is a brush.
I already had a
pack of brushes from Real Techniques that I bougt from TOPSHOP and I am really glad I bought them as they work miracles for me. What I didn't know was that they also had Sam and Nic Chapman's brushes on this store (and I have been there a thousand times). If you don't know them, they have some
YouTube accounts where they teach how to do your makeup in a million different ways and with super easy techniques.
Back to the brush. When I entered the store it was impossible for me not to gt it. It is perfect for blush or finishing powder. I really cannot complain on this brush.
The next thing I bought it isn't realy something I needed but I have been collectiong lipsticks for a while now.
Lately I have been obsessing on dark coloured lipsticks, specially red ones. I was looking for a specific one,
SOFT MATE LIP CREAM in the colour Copenhagen but they didn't have it so I finally bought this other one that I seem to be in love with because I haven't stopped using it. With only one coat it shows a vibrant colour and it lasts all day. One of the best things I have purchased in 2015.
And finally the last one. A dry shampoo.
I have been looking for ages for a thing like this as it is really unusual to find them. At least for an economic price. My hair tends to get dirty real quick so I'm always looking for remedies to not have to wash it so often and damaging it in the process.
What I used to do was buy them every time I went out of the country and the last time I found
floral and flirty from
batiste for what I think was 3 pounds in Edinburgh. I bought the bigger size they had and there's still plenty of it to be used. But when I saw they had a XXL Volume one I couldn't resist.
In my opinion the look it gives to my hair it's totally clean, it does give an amount of volume but the texture was a bit funny. It was like I had used A LOT of hairspray on my hair. But still, it does its function and I couldn't be happier. Also, the texture disappeard when I brushed my hair a couple of times.
